For funeral directors & funeral homes

Every mourner follows the farewell.
Offer it once, for every family after.

Dictu translates eulogies, tributes and readings live, on each mourner's phone — no app, no screens at the front of the room. Set it up once for one family, and it becomes part of what your home offers to every family after.

Dictu is new to funeral homes. We're working with a small number of partners first — if this fits how you serve families, talk to us and we'll set you up personally.

How Dictu works for your home

1

The service is set up in advance

You or the family create the service and add the eulogies and readings ahead of the day. Every word is prepared and translated beforehand — never transcribed live, so there are no surprises in the room.

2

Mourners scan one code

A single QR code at the entrance, or printed in the order of service. Each mourner chooses their language and follows along on the phone already in their hand. Nothing to download.

3

Each word arrives in time

As the celebrant speaks, each paragraph appears in sync, in every language — quietly, with nothing displayed at the front of the room.

Why funeral homes offer Dictu

A reason families choose you

More families today are spread across languages and borders. A home that can hold the whole room together, in every language, is one they remember and quietly recommend.

Nothing to manage on the day

Everything is prepared and translated before the service. It asks nothing of your staff during the farewell. You offer it; we carry the rest.

Every mourner is included

A grandmother who speaks only Portuguese, a friend who speaks only Farsi — each follows the same words, at the same moment, in their own language.

Quiet and unobtrusive

No screens at the front, no microphone passed around, no app to install. Mourners follow along discreetly, and look up when it matters most.

Offered once, carried always

Set up your home's account once. After that it is simply part of what you provide — ready for every family who needs it, without setting anything up again.

Plain about the business case

We won't dress this up. For a home that serves international families, this is a small, dignified addition to what you already provide — arranged once, offered for years. A home might include it in the service at no charge, or add it as a modest line. Either way, it sets you apart without a word of selling.

Pricing

Each service is €149, one-time — unlimited eulogies and readings, every language, and an archive the family can return to afterward. The first two tributes for any service are free, so you and a family can see it work before anything is paid. Serving international families regularly? Talk to us about partner terms for your home.

Held with discretion

Dictu never contacts a mourner — not during the service, not after. The family and your home own every word and every channel of communication. The small "powered by Dictu" mark is off by default for funerals, and stays off unless you choose to show it.

When a family needs every voice to be understood

We'll walk you through it at your pace, with no obligation. Set up a first service whenever you're ready.
